The steps on how to create an HDR image is to take 7 pictures starting at a really low exposure to a high exposure compensation, then go to photoshop and press edit and merge to HDR pro, and upload your pictures. Automatic HDR is different because when you press HDR on a mobile device then you just press on the button and it will take one HDR picture but on a digital camera you can take many HDR pictures at different exposure compensation.
My thought process behind taking the landscape picture below was to find a good place that had a great view and not much movement in the photo. Then when I took the experiment profile picture I wanted to have a nice back round instead of taking the picture in front of a wall and find a person who could keep a straight face for 20 seconds.
Wow! Awesome pictures Brooke. I really like how you placed your subject.I think you could've made the feather a little bit less noticeable but I think it also adds interest o the image.
ReplyDeleteI think your focal point was good, but you could've worked more on the surrealism.
ReplyDeleteYour landscape photo and portrait are amazing! Very surrealistic. I think you might've feathered your subject a little too much. But I really like how your text relates to your image.
ReplyDeleteNice Super impose! I really like how your word is really big and it's really noticeable! The opacity can be turned down and the feather could have been toned down. Either way, the position of your subject looks marvelous.
ReplyDeleteAmazing job!!!! Great rule of thirds, surrealism and text layover effects. Overall awesome job!
ReplyDeleteGREAT JOB BROOKIE!!! I love the surrealism and the text is large and relative!

Woah, I really love your pictures! Nice surrealism and good custom layer effects. Your cut out quality around her right arm could have been improved a little.... Otherwise, awesome rule of thirds and focal point!
Good job! Good use of rule of thirds! I think that you could have turned the feathering down a little. Your landscape is amazing.
ReplyDeleteBrooke I love your landscape photo and your experiment photo. Great job also on the rule of thirds and the surreality!
ReplyDeleteWah!~ Your HDR is amazing, and the focal point is perfect. I think that you could lay off the feathering a bit. But other than that, you photo is really nice!
ReplyDeleteNice job placing your subject. Your cut out could be feathered less, but it looks good against your landscape. Good job!
ReplyDeletegreat blog
ReplyDeletenext time try to put your images all on the bottom
great images
Good job Brooke on surrealism, great photography skills. Maybe change the text and use your refine edge to make your Mom fade into the background just a little. But overall, this is a great superimposed image, one of my favorites :D.
ReplyDeleteReally nice picture. It looks like you cut out a little to much and maybe you can feather it less. Nice background picture.
ReplyDeleteI really like where you placed your subject. I think you could've made the text a little more transparent, but it matches the color of the sky really well.
ReplyDeleteGreat job applying rule of thirds! I love the font you chose for your text, it really seems to match. I think maybe your landscape could be slightly more surreal. Awesome job doing the feathering on the cut-out, I love how it adds to your portrait's surreality.
ReplyDeleteI really like how the clouds look and how it looks like she's glowing. But it looks a little bit too feathered. Your text layer effects are very nice and overall, you did a great job!
ReplyDeleteYour landscape photo and portrait are very surrealistic. I think you might've feathered your subject a little too much, but the word works very well.
ReplyDeleteGreat landscape photo!
ReplyDeleteMaybe work on your cut out a little more, but overall great job!
Great photos! I like the surrealism in your experiment. I think that you could've turned down the feather, but I think all your images are really well taken and the rule of thirds is present.
ReplyDeletegreat photo.i would change the rule of thirds in your experment. ove the photo overall
ReplyDeleteI really like the color and vibrance in your photos. Your cutout could be feathered a little less so your subject stands out. I also like how you placed your subject in your superimpose.
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures Brooke!
ReplyDeleteI think next time you could lessen the feather option.
Over-all I really like how you placed your subject and your text... great job!
